Your  Rights and  Responsibilities

Families have both the right and the responsibility:
  • To be involved in all aspects of their child’s programming.
  • To receive all information and reports regarding their child.
  • To be treated as a partner in services.
  • To communicate with your team about your own and your child's successes and frustrations.
  • To understand that developing individual strategies can be a ‘trial and error’ process that require practice and do not always lead to immediate desired results.
  • To review your individual plan as required to modify and/or create new strategies.
  • Accept responsibility for openly sharing and receiving information.
